Crysis 3

EA Games has confirmed the release of Crysis 3; the third main installment of the Crysis series, and the sequel to the 2011 video game Crysis 2. The game will run on the CryEngine 3 game engine.

The third game sees players take on the role of Prophet as he returns to New York, only to discover the city’s been encased in a giant Nanodome created by the corrupt Cell Corporation. The New York City Liberty Dome is a veritable urban rainforest teeming with overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and treacherous environments become known as the Seven Wonders. Set in 2047, Prophet is said to be on a “revenge mission” after uncovering the truth behind Cell’s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens were told that the giant citywide structures were resurrected to protect the population and to cleanse these metropolises of the remnants of Ceph forces. In reality, the Nanodomes are CELL’s covert attempt at a land and technology grab in their quest for global domination. With alien Ceph lurking around every corner and human enemies on the attack, nobody is safe in the path of vengeance. Everyone is a target in Prophet’s quest for retribution.

2. Adam Jensen( Deus ex: Human Revolution)

Adam Jensen was born in 1993. At a very young age he was one of a group of infants subjected to experimental genetic therapy treatments by White Helix, a subsidiary of VersaLife. All other children in the group died as a result of the treatments, but Jensen survived. Two scientists in charge of Adam found out they had succeeded with him, but had grown too attached to let Versalife continue experimenting on him. Also, not wanting any more children to undergo the same treatments, they burned down the facility where the experiments had taken place. They were murdered by the Illuminati and later reported as fire casualties, but their plan worked and infant Jensen was rescued by a kind-hearted facility worker named Michelle Walthers. Walthers gave up the baby Jensen for adoption, and at age five he was adopted by two loving parents. The rest of his youth and his adolescence were relatively normal. He grew up unaware of his origins, and believing that his foster parents were his birth parents.

However, unbeknownst to Walthers, or Jensen himself, or anyone else alive, the White Helix gene therapy had permanently altered Jensen’s biochemistry. His body would no longer damage PEDOT electrodes with glial tissue buildup; instead, it would form a strong bond with the electrodes – meaning that if he were to be augmented, he would not require Neuropozyne. For the thirty years that followed the White Helix experiment, Jensen would unknowingly carry the secret of universal augmentation in his DNA.

With his criminal body count tallied in hundreds, Payne is responsible for single handedly crippling the Punchinello crime family, crushing Nicole Horne’s Aesir Corporation, terminating the manufacture and trade of the drug Valkyr, and, along with Mona Sax, wiping out the mercenary and gangster army of the Russian Mafia boss bent on taking over the Inner Circle – Vladimir Lem.

Nine years later, Payne moves to São Paulo to work in a private security sector with his friend, Raul Passos.

Mass Effect 3- What a game :-)

I am playing this game for the 5th time now, and every time I play I just keep discovering new things. The games storyline and flexibility is simply mind-blowing. I am not a RPG fan but mass effect 3 has changed it completely.

The game begins with the REAPERS invading earth. The look on Shepherd’s face when a giant robo-REAPER fried two shuttles with a laser beam is still engraved in my mind. From that point our hero’s journey begins>>> going to the citadel and performing missions to unite all alien races against the reapers–visiting different planets and gaining every species’s trust to fight them–and ultimately leading the frontal assult to Earth or whatever was left of it. Mass Effect 3 is an ideal proof of the proverb “Together we stand..Divided we fall.”

The storyline is really touching. The best part is that we have the opportunity to shape Shepherd’s personality. The ending will depend on your fleet strength and the choices you make throughout the game. There are three choices in the end>> control the reapers; destroy the reapers or synthesis. But whatever choices you make Shepherd will die, and all the mass relays will get destroyed. If the player’s Effective Military Strength is high enough and the “destroy” ending is chosen, Shepard is briefly seen lying in ruins, potentially still alive. Finally, a post-credits sequence depicts an old man and a child on an alien planet. looking at the stars. The child asks the old man to tell him another story about “the Shepard”, implying that Shepard’s legacy lives on…
